Meet the Cast.......

Adriana Ellis

Adriana is excited to make her Ann Arbor In Concert debut alongside such a talented cast! Adriana is a rising senior vocal performance major at Baldwin Wallace University. Previous BWU credits include Serse, Dialogues of the Carmelites, The Mikado, and Ruddigore. Adriana is grateful to have the opportunity to delve into such a different show than she is used to. A huge thank you goes out to this awesome cast and crew!

Anna Zanin

Anna is thrilled to be a part of Ann Arbor in Concert's production of SPRING AWAKENING! Anna is a second year senior at Interlochen Arts Academy for theatre, and this will be her third show with Ann Arbor in Concert: (42nd Street, Hairspray). Theatre is her ultimate passion and she is so grateful to have an amazing cast and creative team to work with, and she also wants to thank her parents for which none of her accomplishments would be possible! 

Ben Walker

Ben Walker is a rising senior musical theatre major at the University of Michigan. He has appeared in U of M productions such as A Man of No Importance, The Light in the Piazza, and Big Fish. He just finished a semester at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where he studied exclusively in shakespeare and appeared in a production of Coriolanus. This is his first show with Ann Arbor in Concert and he is so appreciative to be working with old friends and new on a show that means so much to him. Thank you to Mike, Eric, Chris and the entire creative team for leading the way!

Cameron Sirian

Cameron is a rising sophomore in the Musical Theater program at Texas State University.  He is very excited to be performing in his first show at Ann Arbor in Concert with this extremely talented cast.  Favorite past roles include Valjean in Les Mis and Tateh in Ragtime.  He would like to thank his family, friends, and teachers for their constant support.

Eva Rosenwald

Eva Rosenwald is delighted to be performing once again with Ann Arbor in Concert. An Ann Arbor native, and University of Michigan alumna, Eva has worked for many years in theatre and film/commercials/industrials/voiceover and is in her 13th year with the CRLT Players at the University of Michigan.  What a treat to perform with this spectacular Spring Awakening cast and crew!  Love and thanks to Mike, Eric and Shoshana, as well as to her beloveds, Christopher, Henry and Ruby. Thanks for coming to the show!

Griffin Binnicker

Griffin is incredibly excited to be making his Ann Arbor in Concert debut. He is a rising junior at the University of Michigan studying Musical theatre. Some of his favorite roles at Michigan include, Laertes (FORTINBRAS), The Superintendent ( THE DROWSY CHAPERONE), and The Shepard (THE WINTERS TALE).  He wants to thank his family, friends, and the cast and crew of SPRING AWAKENING for allowing him this opportunity. Enjoy the show and GO BLUE! 

Grant Rossi

Grant Rossi is a rising junior at the University of Michigan, earning his B.M. in Music Composition. He is currently a member of the Michigan Men’s Glee Club and newly-appointed Music Director for Amazin’ Blue a cappella, International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella 2017 Wild Card champions. While he performs regularly with a variety of groups, this is his first-ever musical theatre production, and he cannot be more thrilled than to have his first show be with Ann Arbor in Concert! He would like to thank Patrick Kiessling, Wilson Plonk, and Mason Van Gieson for their advice and support. Go Blue!

John Seibert

John has worked as a Michigan-based actor, director and teacher for over 25 years. He has collaborated with many professional theatre companies in and around Detroit, has been an associate artist with both The Performance Network in Ann Arbor and The Purple Rose Theatre in Chelsea and has served as a theatre lecturer  and director at both Eastern Michigan University and The University of Michigan.  Favorite recent roles include George in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf (Wilde Award 2016) Vanya in Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike and Frederik in A Little Night Music (Wilde Award 2013).   On camera, John’s been seen in the films Super Sucker,  Kill The Irishman  and Batman vs. Superman, Dawn of Justice (with Holly Hunter).  He is  a proud member of Actors Equity Association and SAG/AFTRA and the proud husband of fellow actor and teacher, Terry Heck.

Kat Ward

Kat Ward is so excited to be returning to Ann Arbor in Concert for the summer! She has recently been seen as Lily in A Man of No Importance, Tracy in Hairspray and The Witch in Big Fish. She is heading into her last year at the University of Michigan receiving a BFA in musical theatre. She would like to thank Mike, Eric, Chris and her family. GO BLUE!

Maryanna Lauter

Maryanna Lauter (Swing u/s Anna, Thea) is ecstatic to be in this production of Spring Awakening. As the youngest member of the cast she feels honored to be part of such a talented team - both the cast and the production team. Favorite past roles include ensemble in Heather with Starlight Theatre, Velda in The Amish Project (where she won a Rising Star award at the Community Theatre of Michigan AACT Fest), Olive in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Tina Denmark in Ruthless and Annie in Annie all with the Farmington Players. Enjoy the show!

Mason Van Gieson

Mason Van Gieson is a rising senior at the University of Michigan pursuing a BFA in Acting and a BA in Anthropology.  She is incredibly excited to be making her Ann Arbor in Concert debut! Recent credits include Mr. Burns (Lisa Simpson) and The White Snake (Stag Spirit/Others) with the University of Michigan, The Importance of Being Earnest (Jack Worthing) with Rude Mechanicals, and Out of Silence (Alexis/Teresa/Nina) in partnership with the Michigan Organization on Adolescent Sexual Health.  This October, you can see her in UMich's upcoming production of The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui (come check it out, go blue!).  She is also proud to serve as Performance Director for Amazin' Blue a cappella, International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella 2017 Wild Card champions.  

Matthew Kemp

Matthew is extremely excited to be making his Ann Arbor in Concert Debut! He is a rising junior Musical Theatre major at the University of Michigan. His favorite past credits at Michigan include Flounder (THE LITTLE MERMAID) and Princeton (AVENUE Q). He would like to thank the entire creative team for this stellar opportunity! He's very excited to explore and play with this fabulous cast! Go Blue!

Michael Cuschieri

This is Michael’s first production with Ann Arbor in Concert and he is very excited to be a swing!  Michael is an incoming freshman as a musical theater major at the Bowling Green State University.  He has been in many school and community theatre productions in metro-Detroit.  He would like to thank his parents and friends for all their love and support.

Natalie Duncan

Natalie Duncan is a rising senior at the University of Michigan earning her B.F.A. in musical theatre. She was most recently seen on the Power Center stage as Andrina in the musical theatre department’s production of The Little Mermaid. Some of her favorite roles include Maria in The Sound of Music and Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera. She would like to thank Mike, Eric, Chris, and the entire Spring Awakening team for this incredible opportunity, and she would like to thank her family and friends for their endless love and support. Rohit Gopal

Rohit is a rising Senior musical theatre major at the University of Michigan and is so excited to be making his Ann Arbor In Concert debut with this amazing team!
